What We're Working On

As a leader in perinatal care since 1970, WAPC’s new and ongoing initiatives span the perinatal period — from preconception through an infant's first year of life. WAPC has developed initiatives to focus on specific aspects of care with the goal of improving care and patient outcomes. Learn more about our areas of focus.

Action Agenda

Each year WAPC develops a set of activities to achieve in the coming year and goals in which to root our work. The Board of Directors approves the Action Agenda and monitors progress throughout the year.

Honors and Awards

WAPC recognizes the incredible work of our membership in advancing perinatal care across Wisconsin and beyond. To that end, we award exemplary members each year with our highest honor, the Callon Leonard Award. This is given in recognition of our founders, Helen F. Callon, RN, CNM, and Thomas A. Leonard, MD and presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to perinatal care in the State of Wisconsin.
